A non-refundable application fee of $200 must be submitted with every application to CAWAAL Development Partners. The non-refundable application fee of $200 is used for administrative purposes and is charged to process your application. You are guaranteed your volunteer placement upon the full payment of all fees and submission of a duly filled application form. Applicants are advised to confirm with the CAWAAL Development Partners-country coordinator about the mode of payment of these fees to ensure that they are received in a timely and secure manner. Early applications offer the best opportunity of acceptance.

The balance of the program fees is due 30 days prior to your departure or immediately upon application. We appreciate that you confirm your full payment of the balance to meet this deadline. The full balance of the program fee must be paid before the applicant can be accepted into the program. We do not have payment-by-installment arrangements.

CAWAAL Development Partners programs fees are competitive and are based on world average prices. All fees should be paid in US Dollars (USD), Great Britain Pounds or Euro currencies. Contact the Country Coordinator before remittance of Program fees to ensure you are well advised.
Volunteers Program Fees includes:

• Pre-departure information and support.
• Airport Transfer (Pick Up) upon arrival.
• Airport Transfer (Drop Off) during your departure.
• Home-stay orientation.
• Accommodation / host allowances.
• Meals (Three meals a day at your home-stay.)
• Orientation week excursion tours.
• In-country orientation and support services.
• Project placement, orientation and training.
• Program administration
• Gate entry fees where applicable.
• Regular check up and communication while at the Project and Home-stay

Volunteers Program Fees excludes:

• Air ticket / travel expenses.
• Personal in-country travel.
• Personal Medical and Rescue Travel Insurance cover.
• Visa application fees and other related fees.
• Communication related expenses such as Internet and local or international telephone expenses.
• Travel expenses to and from project placement from home-stay.
• Entertainment expenses, refreshments and meals bought while away from home-stay except during excursions and safari.
• Any personal expenses and/or liabilities incurred upon arrival and stay in the country.

How you can make payments.
Program fees can be remitted in Cash, Travelers Cheques (ask your bank for assistance), or bank Telegraphic transfers (T/T) / Electronic Funds Transfer- EFT / SWIFT. Applicants wishing to make payments in other currencies have the option of remitting Great Britain Pounds – GBP or Euro – EUR. For Account details contact the Country Cordinator / info at cawaal.com
Note: that CAWAAL does not accept personal or draft cheques. Applicants intending to use Travelers Cheques must provide supporting documents and/or receipts issued by the bank(s) where they purchased them together with the bank’s contact details.

Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel or withdraw from our volunteers program due by choice. It is your sole responsibility to participate to choose whether you should participate in our program. CAWAAL Development Partners gives the applicant the opportunity to make that decision. We know and fully understand that you may rescind your decision but it is always important to make a final decision before applying. It is essential for you to know that the process of cancellation or withdrawal from our volunteers program is costly due to the arrangements we make to ensure that your program is a success.
If you decide to cancel or withdraw from Volunteers program, you must inform info@cawaal.com in writing immediately. We must receive your notification of cancellation or withdrawal from you in writing. It is important for you to note that the $250 registration fees deposit is strictly non-refundable whatsoever. It is retained as a cancellation fee by CAWAAL Development Tourism.

Note:

• The applicant will meet any applicable Bank charges.
• Any refunds will be payable to the applicant within sixty (60) days from cancellation date.
• All cancellations must be signed and faxed/mailed. CAWAAL Development Partners will not accept phone calls or emails cancellations/withdrawals.
• Cancellation of Program to another program placement within the same program duration will not be bound by this policy. However, review of your application change is subject to availability of placement vacancy.
• Applicants may wish to defer participation to a future program after cancellation/ withdrawal. However, the applicant program deposit fee can only be deferred once to a program start date less than sixty (60) days from initial confirmation date.
